This is an outstanding opportunity to join a new Asia long short fund that has been launched as part of a well established financial services group. You will be working with a manager who has a long track record of managing long short money in Japan and Asia.
They are seeking an Asian research analyst who is looking to work closely with a talented manager in a role that will give the right individual the ability to learn and develop quickly. This will be the opposite of a stuffy corporate culture and will suit someone who has the desire to work without the traditional constraints of benchmarks and corporate structures.
Your role will include
Carry out detailed modeling and analysis of current and new investment ideas within the Asian equity market.Arrange and conduct meetings with company management.Make recommendations on the portfolio.To be suitable for this role the candidate could have: Experience of the Asian equity market within a bugle bracket bank, hedge fund, asset management house or similar.Outstanding academicsA second Asian Language is a benefit
