This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced fund manager / senior analyst to work with a leading global emerging markets equities hedge fund with the potential to run their own book in emerging and frontier markets. The fund was launched in December 2004 with $6m (AUM) and currently stands at around $600m (AUM). They take a fundamental bottom up value approach to investing with a strong macro overlay. The fund has offices in London and Hong Kong
-The London office is seeking an experienced and successful Value investment manager to:
Source investment ideas and stock selection through a fundamental bottom up approach in emerging and frontier markets.
Once established, to be given the opportunity to raise and run their own fund.
-To be considered for this role the candidate could have:
A proven track record as a successful long only manager, prop trader or similar from a Hedge Fund, Asset Management House or bulge bracket investment bank.
Excellent Fundamental analysis skills and be a value investor.
A track record in EMEA and or Latin America Equities markets.
An understanding of credit fundamentals.
Excellent fund marketing skills.
Outstanding Academics.
