Our client is one of the largest independently-owned global boutique investment bank solely dedicated to raising capital for alternative investment funds and direct private placements. They have a global presence with offices in North America, Europe and Asia.
They are looking to hire a couple of experienced individuals to raise hedge fund capital from foundations, endowments, pension funds, insurance companies, family offices and funds of funds.
The individual will develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors and market various hedge funds investments across strategies and regions.
Responsibilities will include:
Contacting prospects and qualifying investor interest. Arranging and accompanying managers to one-on-one presentations.Follow-up communications with investors and closing on investments.
The right background is likely to involve a significant time spent in a fundraising role within the hedge fund community and a clear understanding of the often complex requirements of investors and clients.
