Location: London Salary: c. £45,000 - £60,000
A leading global private equity group, focussed on investing into emerging markets have ambitious growth plans. With these growth plans in mind we are seeking to hire a talented associate to join the fund raising team.
With multiple products and the constant need to raise capital the role will be responsible for:
- Tracking, recording and analysis of relevant fund raising information and trends- Researching and gathering data on the LP community, which investors have commitment to funds in our markets, competitive activity etc.- Running the databank track record of deals / analysis- Running investor database and investor profiling- Preparation of calling programmes and co-ordination of multi party meetings and conference calls- Preparation of and attending presentations- Internal data gathering to prepare responses to LP's- Preparation of responses to due diligence questions from potential investors- General research - Financial modelling- In time will have the opportunity to manage their own portfolio of 10-15 international investors
The ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate strong financial modelling, research, due diligence and business analysis experience. Presentation skills and general transaction experience is also beneficial. Considered backgrounds will be training programs as an analyst with a blue chip investment bank, consultancy or accounting firm, or similar.
All candidates must be able to demonstrate empathy for the emerging markets, Asia, India, Africa, Latin America etc. and view fund raising as a long term career prospect.
